About Calle.

I am a B2B growth strategist with roots in 15 years of real sales experience — not theory. I came to growth through business, not through marketing, and that shapes how I think: growth is a business problem, not a channel.

My journey starts with Adsensus, a company I built and ran as a partner together with Alexander Rydberg, Andreas Wiesel, Rasmus Nervall, Peter Kuylenstierna, Carl Carell, Hugo Wennberg, Axel Larsson, Johan Ågren & Martina Huzell. Three years in a row we were named DI Gasell — not because we were good at PowerPoint, but because we built a commercial engine that actually worked when cash flow mattered. That's where I learned that growth requires structure, process, and a team that understands why they do what they do.

Then came Mentimeter, where I was part of a period of international expansion. I built and led sales teams across North America and EMEA, significantly improved win-rates, shortened sales cycles, and aligned sales and marketing in a way that created real momentum. That taught me that scalability is not the result of more resources — it is the result of better systems and clearer leadership.

I now work as a fractional growth leader through Crl Ercsn AB. This means stepping into companies operationally as someone who can both think and execute — not leave a report and disappear. I work 0.5–3 days per week embedded in your team, responsible for ensuring that strategy actually translates into measurable impact.

I am an alumnus and former course supervisor at Berghs School of Communication, combining that with a deep grounding in B2B sales and modern growth methodology.

How I think about growth

Growth should be customer-funded where possible. That means the sales process must work before you scale, that retention matters as much as acquisition, and that capital should not mask inefficiency.

I rarely think "which channel should we optimise?" I think: where are we losing business energy between signal and revenue? That answer moves across GTM, funnel, ICP, messaging, sales process, and organisational culture — often at the same time.

This means I work best with companies that have a real product but commercial friction. Companies where marketing and sales work in parallel instead of together. Founder-led scaleups with strong intuition but lacking structure. B2B companies in SaaS and professional services, where business is built on trust and relationships rather than volume and reach.

What is customer-funded growth?
Customer-funded growth means expanding the company by reinvesting revenue from paying customers rather than external venture capital. This requires an optimized sales process and a strong focus on cash flow.
How does Growth-as-a-Service work?
It is an arrangement where Calle steps in operationally in your organization for a period to drive growth projects. Unlike a traditional consultant who leaves a report, Calle stays for the execution.
Which industries does Calle have experience in?
I have deep experience in B2B, with specific expertise in SaaS, software, and sales of complex services (Professional Services). My strategy works best where deals are built on trust and long-term relationships, whether it involves digital products or consultative solutions.
What does fractional mean?
Fractional means I step in part-time in an ongoing arrangement (initially hourly, then typically on a retainer with a variable, results-based structure) and take operational responsibility for clearly defined growth initiatives — without you needing to hire full-time.
What is the difference from interim?
Interim often means replacing a role full-time for a period. Fractional is more flexible: I step in 0.5–3 days per week and complement the team where the need is greatest, with a focus on delivery and knowledge transfer.
Are you based in Stockholm and can you work on-site?
Yes, I am primarily based in Stockholm and regularly work on-site with clients in the Stockholm region. Remote work works equally well for ongoing engagements, and most collaborations are a mix of in-person meetings and digital work. Regardless of geography, the arrangement is adapted to what creates the best conditions for you.
How quickly can an engagement get started?
From first conversation to kick-off typically takes one to two weeks. We always start with a no-strings-attached intro call to align on needs and see if we are a good match — that takes 30 minutes. From there we put together an arrangement and can get going quickly. There is no lengthy onboarding process or bureaucracy.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It varies depending on scope, but most collaborations run for at least three to six months. Growth takes time to build properly, and short engagements rarely provide the depth needed for real change. Many engagements transition into an ongoing advisory arrangement once the immediate priorities are addressed. We always start from what actually creates value for you — not from lengthy contracts for their own sake.
What is the difference between a fractional CMO and Growth-as-a-Service?
A fractional CMO is typically focused on marketing leadership and strategy. Growth-as-a-Service is broader: it includes sales, GTM strategy, and operational execution — not just marketing. In practice I move between marketing and sales, identify where business energy is actually being lost, and take responsibility for addressing it. It works best for companies that need growth as a whole, not just a CMO function.
What is the difference between Growth-as-a-Service and a traditional marketing agency?
An agency delivers predefined services — advertising, content, design — at arm's length. Growth-as-a-Service is not a supplier, it is an operational partnership. I step into your team, take responsibility for defined initiatives, and make sure the strategy is actually executed. This means close collaboration, knowledge transfer to existing team members, and a focus on real business outcomes — not deliverables in themselves.
Can you help companies outside Sweden?
Yes. I have experience of international work from Mentimeter among others, with roles across North America and EMEA. Remote arrangements work well for most types of collaboration, and I work fluently in English. Get in touch regardless of where you are based.
